basic data type

Basic data types are data types implemented by the system. Usually, basic data types are atomic data types, i.e. the do not consist of properties. There are, however, also complex basic data types as timestamp, which consists of date and time.

Specialisations: Boolean, binary data, any type, numeric type, time type, text type
