category

A category is a property, that defines a generic subset for an object collection of a given type. The category defines the borderlines for the subset (e.g. by means of constraints).

Thus, categories are conceptual definitions for enumerators, i.e. the category defines the meaning while the enumerator defines the code used for a category.
