Trying to locate a scoped property path in a parent cannot change the instance type for a property, when the property handle is selected. This problem happens only for property paths containing scoped elements. In order to set the current type for the property to the scope name, the selection in the property handle needs to be reset. This is not done implicitly and the application must call ToTop() or Cancel() in order to be able to switch the current type of the property handle.
