9. Maintenance - Maintenance functions
Maintenance function are provided in order to perform some specific (usually critical) operations, which enable the database administrator to solve problems, which cannot be solved legally.
Notes:
Maintenance functions should be used by advanced users, only.
Functions
- eraseExtent - Erase extent
- eraseExtentReference - Delete extent reference
- exportData - Export data
- extentCount - Get number of allocated extents
- extentExist - Does Extent exist in database object
- extentName - Provide extent form Database Object
- importData - Import data from XML or OIF
- objectName - Get Database Object
- renameExtentReference - Rename extent reference
