Common services

This section contains a number of common service classes, which do not depend on the database. Some of those classes have similar implementations in the standard library, but we got good reasons to use these classes. It is not the intention to suggest these classes for common use, since those have been made to fulfill the specific requirements of the database. On the other hand, some of the features might be interesting.

Anyhow, one may use the functions, but the main intention of this section is just providing an overview about the classes and their features, which are referenced in database classes.

Common service classes are provided in the sos library.
