OSI expressions or functions are a mean for accessing the database without compiling programs. One may use OSI expressions as embedded expressions within a program. It is also possible running OSI expressions from the command line (OShell utility). OSI expressions can be defined as class methods (functions) in OSI classes, which can be defined for any data type. On the other hand, one may define OSI expressions as in line expressions in several places.
