Terminus concepts

The conceptual background of for Terminus has been documented in the "Terminology Model 2" [TM2]. This chapter describes relevant technical concepts for the Terminus implementation.

Mainly, Terminus supports multilingual definitions of topics and concepts. Topics define conceptual or technical details and might be displayed in different hierarchies or by category.

Concepts provide essential definition of relevant terms in the area related to the model. By means of concepts one may define a concept system as being described in [TM2]. Topics may be arranged in hierarchies (Themes) or provide elementary definitions for terminology model elements (T-Models).
