BLOB - Binary large objects

Binary large objects are used to store complex data structures as pictures, videos or documents. Usually, BLOB s need special processes for interpreting the data within the BLOB . An extended feature in ODABA supports typed BLOB s and BLOB references, since it is often more convenient referring to BLOB s instead of storing them.
