Document import

One may import documents via the OSI document import interface (Open Office Documents), by means of macros (MS Office Documents) or by running ImportDocument , which imports document data into a fixed topic structure.

In order to assign document elements to proper database instances and properties, documents my be analyzed by styles, sequence and content. Referring to document content is always a specific method, which works on one type of document, only. Hence, content analysis is a task for an import application and not part of a generic solution.
