Internal database collection
Internal collections can be used to create transient object collections (e.g. for derived collections). Internal database collections differ from transient or temporary collections, since they are not stored to an external file. Internal collections are defined as specific extent type, which can be done in the database dictionary or at run-time in an application.
Usually, internal collections are ordered sets, i.e. one may define one sort order for the collection. In addition, one may define any number of temporary orders.
