Common resource features

In order to provide additional information for development resources, many development resources ( SDB_Resource ) are linked with a resource reference ( SDB_ResourceRef ). Resource references are created automatically, e.g. when creating a document topic or a notice for a resource. Sometime, one may also want to create a resource reference explicitly, e.g. when assigning a context class to a resource, which did not get a resource reference, so far.

Therefore, many development resources provide a resource link, which allows creating new resource references.

The Associate button on the right side of the resource reference allows creating a resource reference, when not yet existing. When a resource reference has already been assigned, the number of the resource reference will be displayed:
