schema element

Schema elements are the parts a schema consists of. Schema elements are of different type as view, structure, enumeration, property, method etc. Schema elements may consist of other schema elements (as structure consists of intensional features), i.e. schema elements are ordered in a hierarchy. ODABA schema elements are arranged in a cyclic directed graph, i.e. they form a tree, where each node has exactly one parent.

There is a number of system schema elements defined by ODABA, but other schema elements can be added by ODABA users e.g. for defining GUI resources.
