Object Interchange Format (OIF)

The OIF BNF defines the syntax and grammar for object export and import. The ODABA OIF is an extended definition of the OIF as being defined in ODBMG 2003. By means of OIF one may export or import complete database content to/from text files. The complete BNF is listed in "BNF for Object Interchange Format (OIF)".

Data provided in an OIF file may be preceded by a schema declaration, which allows providing data together with its metadata.
