Control regions
Control regions may be defined for any type of list, tree or drop list. Region definitions contain a region hierarchy and columns to be displayed.
In order to define a list or tree, regions and columns may be defined. When not defining columns, the key value according to selected access key will be displayed. When not defining regions, the instanced from the assigned data source (which should be a collection) are displayed. In order to define multiple region lists or trees, one has to define regions with its data source.
In many cases, lists contain more than one column or the key is not the right information to be displayed. In this case, columns have to be defined. When defining columns for a multiple region list or tree, all regions must get the same number of columns. When column sources or labels differ for regions, each region may define its own set of columns.
